Welcome!
Maybe you are new to this whole “church thing”, or just new to the area and looking for a church to make your spiritual home. Koinonia Community Baptist Church of Irvine, Asian-American church located in Irvine, might just be the place for you. Not Asian-American? That’s OK. Not Baptist? That’s OK, too! We welcome people from all backgrounds, and all walks of life. So, whether you are a spiritual seeker who is investigating Christianity, or a committed Christian looking to grow deeper in your relationship with God, we invite you to join us at KCBC.

Our regular worship service is held on Sunday afternoons at 5:00 p.m. in Irvine. We provide child care for all of our Bible studies and services and have ministries for the whole family on Sundays as well as throughout the week. There is the Career group, College department, Youth department (high school & junior high), JOYland (pre-K-6th), and JOYcorner (birth-toddlers).

Here at KCBC, our vision is to be the 21st century sister-church of the 1st century church described in the Bible. We believe our faith should permeate all areas of our lives, from home to school to work. We are a church that loves to study the Bible together, pray together, sing together, eat together, and share lives together, even carrying life’s burdens together. Simply put, we strive to carry out Jesus’ Great Commandments—to love God and love one another, and his Great Commission—to make disciples of all nations, starting in the context of our daily lives, but going to the ends of the earth.

So, come by and visit us. Maybe you want to start by coming to a Sunday worship service, or maybe to a smaller Friday Night Bible Study. Either way, you’re welcome, so we hope to see you soon!
