Koinonia Community Baptist Church of Irvine was founded in 1994 as an extension of Berkland Baptist Church. In April of 1993, we also started a Korean language ministry. We are a community of faith located in Irvine, CA, and are led by Pastor Andy Pak and his wife Grace. Our church started in 1981 when it was founded by Pastor Paul Kim and his wife, Becky JDSN, near the border of Berkeley and Oakland (hence the name "Berkland"). Berkland Baptist Church (BBC), was started with the vision to live out The Great Commandment to love God and love one another, and to join in The Great Commission of making disciples of all nations. Since 1981, God has enlarged the BBC family with churches around the world in Berkeley, Boston, Los Angeles, New York, Silicon Valley, Davis, Washington DC, Seoul, Tashkent, Beijing, Moscow, Tokyo, Seattle and San Francisco. |
